Convenience. Classes can be scheduled at your facility or at one of the Chapter’s office at any time -- daytime, evenings, and weekends. You can even have one of your staff trained as a Red Cross Instructor.

Cost-effective training. Materials and instruction are provided at reasonable rates, whether you want one course or several. And because the American Red Cross of Central Texas is a non-profit organization, the dollars you invest in training go right back into our community to support lifesaving emergency preparedness and response programs.

Courses developed by experts. American Red Cross materials are developed in collaboration with leading educational and medical authorities and reflect the most current information and techniques. Red Cross CPR and first aid courses meet the Emergency Cardiovascular Care 2005 Guidelines and OSHA's Guidelines for First Aid. Red Cross courses are designed to teach the exact skills people need to know in an emergency.

Certified instructors.
Red Cross instructors are thoroughly trained with the most up-to-date, nationally-recognized methods and materials. The most trusted name in health and safety training for nearly a century - the American Red Cross.

Participant certification. Course completion certificates are available for participants who meet the course objectives. Individuals may also audit American Red Cross courses and choose not to participate in the skills testing process. Certificates are issued at the end of each class.

Relief from record keeping burden. Participant and instructor certification and recertification records are maintained at the American Red Cross of Central Texas. Our service commitment means that you can just focus on training and leave the administrative chores to us.

Spanish-language courses. Many of our courses and materials are available in Spanish.
